History Teaching at Prince Andrew School
The aim of History at Key Stage 3 is to provide students with the opportunity to explore local and global history using evidence and enquiry to determine causation. Students will discuss and develop their own interpretation to consolidate their own knowledge and understanding. Students have the opportunity to progress to qualifications at GCSE.
Resources for Learning
We have a specialist classroom for the delivery of courses in Humanities. The Subject Area for History is supported by a Subject Leader for Humanities to include the coordination of History and Geography. History at Key Stage 3 is taught by a range of teachers from Prince Andrew School who are able to bring their own experience to the teaching of subject.
